I'm Kara. I work with emerging brands and retailers who want to get it right. With over 20 years in Natural and Organic grocery, I've seen the industry from just about every angle: opening new stores, developing private label lines, building on-premise menus from scratch, and consulting emerging CPG brands on how to compete at retail.
I believe great, innovative products deserve a real shot at the shelf. I've brought more than 300 items to market across grocery, wine, beer, spirits, and snacks. Concept to Shelf™ exists to close the gap between a great idea and a great launch.

My Story
I am a certified Category Manager with over 20 years experience in the Natural and Organic grocery industry. I've worked in Private Label Development from Grocery CPG to Adult Beverage, Strategy Development, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service.
I have seen it all - from opening new stores, creating Concept To Shelf™ brand and product development of over 300 items including wine, On-Premise menu creation and operations, and overall strategy for categories at Natural and Organic retailers. I also have experience consulting CPG brands and support them getting to market on small scale and national placements.
